Field Epidemiology Training: August 5-7, 2009

CIDER will be hosting a post-conference training entitled Field Epidemiology August 5-7, 2009, following the 2-day conference.  This intensive course will cover the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to conduct an epidemiologic field investigation.

LocationThe Field Epidemiology Training will be given at UC Berkeley CIDER, located at 1918 University Avenue (at MLK Way), 4th Floor, Berkeley, CA, 94704.  Discounts will be given for those registering for both the Summit and Training.

Introduction to R: August 19-20, 2009

This training will introduce students to R, an open source program for statistical computing and graphics, in a 2-day intensive program emphasizing basic analysis and interpretation.

The Introduction to R Training will be given at UC Berkeley Campus in Room 212 Wheeler.

PARKING Please be aware that parking is expensive in Downtown Berkeley. Public transportation is recommended.
