The CIDER Summit 2010 was a 2-day educational conference co-sponsored by the California Association of Communicable Disease Controllers, California Department of Public Health, and University of California, San Francisco, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Division of Preventive Medicine and Public Health.
The CIDER Summit highlighted the advances in the epidemiology and control of emerging infectious diseases. The topics covered were lessons learned from recent foodborne illnesses, current immunization issues, updates on healthcare associated infections, emerging infectious diseases in the United States, antimicrobial resistance and global health.
